“University of Richmond graduates, compared to graduates of most other colleges and universities in the U.S., should expect to have more choices when they graduate and throughout their careers,” Yarnell said. “I hope to increase the range of choices that students and alum will have throughout their working lives.”
The University of Richmond CAPS office sees around 850 students each year, according to Peter LeViness, former director of Counseling and Psychological Services at UR. Anxiety and stress are the most common reasons that students visit the UR CAPS office, followed by depression, relationship problems and family concerns.
