The Christmas market is a huge holiday favorite with local families and received over 350,000 visitors last year.
“Galway at Christmas is the reason why I decided to come to university here," Laura Halpin, a student at the National University of Ireland Galway, said. "Everybody is so happy and excited when it comes around … that could also be something to do with the beer tent though!”
