Green campus efforts continue with the LEED initiative
By Caroline Dilworth | September 22, 2011The University of Richmond has joined the efforts to "Go Green" by promoting sustainability through various conservation programs, student groups and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design-certified architecture. Although Richmond has paid attention to environmental issues for many years, the efforts increased when President Ayers signed the President's Climate Commitment in 2007, according to the sustainability page on the university's website.
