Better known as Tony P. online, videos of Polcari showing off his “Sunday fits,” going furniture shopping and cooking fish have gone viral - and his 133,000 Instagram followers can’t get enough.
Silene, 30, is a rising figure in the world of rock and pop music in the city of Richmond. She is known for her distinctive sound, often described as "dreampop." The artist recently unveiled her latest single, "The Seeker."
On the evening of Oct. 25, Leland Melvin, ‘86, had an audience of hundreds captivated by his stories of perseverance as an astronaut at NASA. He was joined on stage – as he was in space – by his friend and fellow former astronaut Robert Satcher. They traveled aboard the shuttle Atlantis in 2009, marking the first time two African-American men were in space together.

Despite her eventual success, Khatcheressian’s struggles at UR did not end with her housing reassignment. Before college, only her close friends and family knew that she had transitioned, and UR was the first place where she introduced herself to new people as a woman.

The University of Richmond CAPS office sees around 850 students each year, according to Peter LeViness, former director of Counseling and Psychological Services at UR. Anxiety and stress are the most common reasons that students visit the UR CAPS office, followed by depression, relationship problems and family concerns.
“Nature is this divine mirror through which we can examine ourselves and our consciousness and know how we exist,” she said.
“A lot of the very critical social period of growing up with your peers and being in the school environment I spent in the hospital."

Another issue Gilmore said he was ready to address was bridging the growing gap between RCSGA and the Westhampton College Government Association.

Danielle Stokes, a University of Richmond professor of law, received grant support for a three-year research project centered on energy transition policy in February.
“It is mountains, the beautiful mountains of Kolomyia where I am from,” she said. “It is also Crimea, where I spent my childhood. Every single year, me and my parents would go to the black sea, to Odesa.”
“I knew that I wanted to stay true to my origins as a poet and as a spoken-word artist, so I wanted to incorporate that,” Williams said.
From her early role in SLI as a mentor, she developed a love for the organization and took on roles of increasing responsibility over the next several years, and now refers to SLI as her “pride and joy.”
