William “Bill” Coleman, 64, a shuttle driver at Groome Transportation who was permanently assigned to drive one of the shuttles at the University of Richmond, died Jan. 22 from lung cancer. Coleman is remembered for his hard work and dedication to his job, Groome Transportation representative LaToya Hurt said.
Paul Clikeman, a professor of accounting in the Robins School of Business who was beloved for his unyielding moral compass and his dedication to his students, died on Nov. 19, according to a Nov. 19 email to University of Richmond faculty, staff and students.
On Aug. 24, Sharon Dickerson-Reed, a dedicated University of Richmond Dining Services employee from Henrico County, died at age 51. Dickerson-Reed is remembered by her family, friends and co-workers at Dining Services for her lively personality and the charisma she brought to work each day.
Dr. Wilbon Harrison Daniel, 91, who was a professor of history at University of Richmond from 1956 to 1992, passed away in his home Dec. 30, 2013.

Bob "Coach" Thalman, of Atlanta, died on Jan. 31, 2012. He was 89 years old. He is survived by Mary Thalman, his wife of 62 years, his brother William Thalman, sister Mary Jane Schuetz, his four children, Linda Norwood, Robert Thalman, Carolyn Laraway and Tommy Thalman, and 10 grandchildren.
Charles H. Ryland, a trustee emeritus, died on Oct. 22.
University of Richmond students and alumni gathered at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Roanoke, Va., on Friday to celebrate the life of Richmond College alumnus Lance C. Moore, who died on Feb. 8 at the age of 24.
