Gallery: Pit Field from the sky

After multiple delays and some frustration, University of Richmond completed its renovation of Pitt Field, home to Richmond's baseball team, last week. The Spiders, who faced an erratic and constantly changing schedule due to the renovations, celebrated the much-anticipated home opener with a massive win against Cornell on Tuesday. The Collegian borrowed a drone -- yes, a drone -- to capture shots of the new Pitt Field, whose playing surface is now synthetic turf rather than grass.
