Happy Valentine's Day week to all who celebrate! We have lots of events to remind you that Virginia IS for lovers. Here are a few ideas to get you started: 

Valentine’s Day Self-Care  

SpiderBoard is hosting a Valentine’s Day Self-Care Day on Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 5 p.m. in The Current. The event will have a chocolate fountain and other food, and activities like lego building, card making, vase painting, and more. You can register here

OAR Indoor Climbing Trip

Nothing says Valentine's Day quite like a rock climbing trip at Triangle Rock Club! The Outdoor Adventure and Recreation Program will be hosting an indoor climbing trip Friday, Feb. 14 for all experience levels, with transportation and equipment rentals included. Click here to sign up. 

Women’s Self-Defense Class 

The URPD is hosting an open session women’s self-defense class on Wednesday, Feb. 12 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Current or former DCJS-certified Police Defensive Tactics Instructors will teach the beginner class of physical self-defense techniques. You can find out more information and register here

Valentine’s Day Chocolate Tasting

The Demonstration Kitchen is hosting a drop-in chocolate tasting for Valetine’s Day this Friday, Feb. 14, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 

Women’s Basketball Game Against Saint Joseph's 

The Richmond Spiders Women's Basketball Team will be playing against Saint Joseph's on Thursday, Feb. 13, at 8 p.m. in the Robins Center.
