Lunar New Year Celebration at Heilman Dining Center

The Student Center for Equity and Inclusion, Heilman Dining Center, and Office of International Education are hosting a Lunar New Year celebration this week on Tuesday, Jan. 28, from 4 to 8 p.m. This event will include food inspired by the holiday, “Year of the Snake” T-shirts and a live performance at 6 p.m.

Look Again Exhibit Opening with the University of Richmond Museums

The University of Richmond Museums is hosting an exhibit opening to present their "Look Again" collection on Tuesday, Jan. 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Featuring pieces like drawings, paintings, ceramics, coins, and more, each work was thoughtfully selected to bring a “fresh perspective” on building an art collection at UR. The opening includes a complimentary lunch buffet and is located in the Harnett Museum of Art in the Modlin Center. Check it out here

Aerial Cirque Production of Alice in Wonderland presented by SOUL Aerial & Performing Arts Center 

If you’re looking for a show this weekend, you might want to check out SOUL Aerial and Performing Arts Center’s showcase Alice in Wonderland. This family-friendly performance will feature more than 70 aerialists, acrobats, and dangers in a full-scale aerial cirque production of Alice’s journey through Wonderland. The opening show is Thursday, Jan. 30, at 11 a.m. at the Dominion Energy Center, but you can find other times and tickets here

Frostival 

Get ready for a night of food trucks, DJing, inflatable games, and more! On Friday, Jan. 31, the SpiderBoard is hosting Frostival from 6 to 9 p.m. More information here
