An exciting week is coming up. It’s filled with the president's inauguration, theater productions, night markets and more. 

Take Back The Night 

Monday 6:45 p.m.-9:30 p.m. 

Join the Center for Awareness, Response & Education for an annual evening of support for sexual violence survivors and their allies. The first portion of the night will be an indoor speak-out in the Alice Haynes Room of Tyler Haynes Commons, followed by an outdoor speak-out at 8 p.m. in The University Forum. “Fiddler on the Roof” 

Tuesday through Sunday 

In the mood for a show? Broadway in Richmond is presenting “Fiddler on the Roof” this week at the Altria Theater. This production is filled with themes of tradition and faith in times of change. To buy your tickets, visit here

Thankful #URhere 

Thursday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Visit the Gottwald Center for the Sciences atrium for the Thankful #URhere event sponsored by SpiderBoard and the Office of Advancement. Students, faculty and staff are all invited to enter a raffle for the chance to win some Spider merchandise, snap a picture with WebstUR and share what you are thankful for on campus. The event will also feature JiJi’s Frozen Custard, so be sure not to miss out. Visit here for more information. 

The Inauguration of Kevin F. Hallock 

Friday 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Join the University of Richmond community to celebrate the official inauguration of Kevin F. Hallock as president. Events will be held throughout the day to commemorate the occasion including the inauguration ceremony, a community festival on the Westhampton Green, a live panel discussion, an evening celebration with live music, fireworks, food trucks and a musical performance in Camp Concert Hall. Richmond Night Market 

Saturday 5 p.m.-9 p.m. 

Celebrate the Richmond community for the first of several Richmond Night Markets for the year. These markets support small businesses and artists in the community. Markets are held on the second Saturday of each month from April through December. The market is held at 17th St. Market. Visit here for more information.
