Men’s Basketball

Jan. 30: Win 84-81 at Saint Louis University 

Sophomores Jacob Gilyard, Grant Golden and Nathan Cayo all scored over 20 points in a tight victory over their conference rival.

Feb. 2: Loss 58-66 vs. La Salle University

Women’s Swimming

Feb. 1: Loss 93.5-135.5 at U.S. Naval Academy

Despite the team losing the event, senior Nicole Piercy finished first in the 500-yard freestyle and the quartet of Eliza Manning, Maggie Purcell, Mallory Shake and Hannah Gouger won the 200-yard freestyle relay.

Feb. 1-2: Camel City Invitational, Winston-Salem, N.C.

Senior Ave Grosenheider won the women’s 5k. Junior Claire Brown and sophomore Brooke Fazio finished second and sixth, respectively, in the 1000-meter race. 

Men’s Tennis

Feb. 2: Win 4-3 vs. Wofford College

Junior George Lovitt’s singles win clinched the Spiders victory over Wofford.

Feb. 3: Win 4-3 at University of North Carolina Greensboro 

Singles victories from Lovitt, junior Matt Fernandez and freshman Campbell Erwin led the Spiders to their second-straight victory of the weekend.
