Police report: March 22-29

Drug/Narcotic Violations

One Richmond College student and two Westhampton College students were arrested for marijuana possession at Theta Chi fraternity at 9:54 p.m. on March 22. 

Theft

Someone stole a wallet from the cubbies in the Weinstein Center for Recreation and Wellness between 6:45 p.m. and 7:40 p.m. on March 22. The wallet had $4 in it along with credit cards and debit cards. The case is currently open. 

In Lakeview Hall, a wallet was stolen that contained $200 in cash, credit cards and debit cards. The theft resulted in credit card/ATM fraud, and the case is still being investigated.

Destruction/Damage/Vandalism of Property

Several trees were spray painted at the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity lodge on March 22. The incident was reported at 2:23 p.m., and the case remains open. 

Multiple ceiling tiles and a light fixture were destroyed in Marsh Hall resulting in an estimated $300 worth of damage, Beth Simonds, assistant chief of police, said. The incident occurred at 1:30 a.m. on March 27 and resulted in an arrest.
