All classes and events scheduled for Monday, Jan. 25, are cancelled other than the men's basketball game vs. Davidson College, according to an email faculty, staff and students received at about 8:30 a.m.
The university originally cancelled all morning events on Monday, but extended the cancellations to the whole day. Classes and events at Richmond have been cancelled since noon Friday.
Winter Storm Jonas, which dropped between 11 and 16 inches of snow on metro Richmond, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, has been the biggest snow storm in the region since 2000.
The basketball game, which was originally scheduled for Saturday, is set for 7:00 p.m.

Based on updated information this morning, all classes or events scheduled for Monday, Jan. 25, are cancelled with the exception of the men's basketball game vs. Davidson College, which will be held at 7 p.m.
Designated essential personnel who are asked to work during this period should coordinate their work schedules with their respective supervisors.
Non-essential personnel are not required to report to work.
