Printing station at Boatwright
Printing at Boatwright Library is no longer a one-step job. Previously students were able to use a computer to print directly to the printer, but that has changed. Now students must go through the printing process on their computer and then head to the printing station where students have find their UR ID, enter their password, and then chose the printing job they wish to complete.
Tailgate parking pass lottery
The first UR football student tailgate will be held September 19, from 2-6 p.m. at New Fraternity Row. There will be a Carytown Burgers & Fries food truck and a DJ. Due to the limited availability for parking spots, students and organizations must enter the online parking pass lottery to get a spot. Half of the passes will be reserved for students while the other half will be reserved for student organizations.
Tyler’s now serving smoothies
Over the summer the smoothie and frozen yogurt shop Freshens, located in the THC, was removed and replaced by additional seating. To make up for the loss, Tyler’s has begun to serve smoothies including Razzle Dazzle, Island Girl, and Go Nutty.
Crutcher to lead the Presidential 5K Bike Ride
For those who are excited about the UCI Road World Championships but aren’t actually competitive cyclists, President Ronald Crutcher will be leading a scenic 5K bike ride around campus on Sep, 20, at 9 a.m. The event is open to students, faculty, staff, and community members, and limited bikes will be provided for participants.
