University of Richmond Police Report: March 23 2015 – March 30 2015

Liquor Law Violation

12:02 a.m. on March 29, 2015, an underage Richmond College student was cited for a liquor law violation after leaving Theta Chi Fraternity. He was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital and treated for intoxication.

Simple Assault

1:15 a.m. on March 29, 2015 at UFA block 2000-2007, two Westhampton College students were cited for simple assault in a mutual combat that resulted in bruises. The incident was reported to URPD Sunday afternoon.

Rape/Dating Violence

URPD sent students a timely warning email reporting a sexual assault on March 26. According to the email, a sexual assault occurred in the 100 block of the UFAs in March. “The victim reported that she was sexually assaulted by a known individual. At this time a police report has not been filed,” the email reads.

Intimidation

9:19 a.m. on March 29, 2015, URPD received a report that a university staff member received a written form of communication that had threatening information from an unknown offender, according to URPD.
