NORFOLK, Va. — Richmond tied the game at 28 during the fourth quarter thanks to a one-handed touchdown catch by wide receiver Stephen Barnette, but then Old Dominion scored two straight touchdowns to win, 42-28. The Spiders have now lost six straight and are now 3-6 this year. Richmond's defense, missing three starters before having another one leave the game on crutches, gave up 587 yards of offense to the Monarchs.
