Three University of Richmond students were assaulted on campus between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010.
The attacker, who has yet to be identified, was accompanied by a small group of unknown males when he assaulted three Richmond College students.
Each victim was assaulted at a different location on campus, at different times. The students claim to have been assaulted without provocation. All of the victims were alone when the attacker approached and assaulted them.
The University of Richmond Police Department is not disclosing any descriptions of the assailants at this time, said Brian Eckert, director of media and public relations.
This is an ongoing investigation led by university police investigator Timothy Mihalcoe.
"There has been some progress in the investigation," Eckert said. "They {University of Richmond Police} have received several useful tips from students."
The Collegian will continue to update this story as more information becomes available.
