The worst winter weather in eight years slammed into Virginia Sunday night into Monday morning, leaving about seven inches of snow at the University of Richmond campus and forcing the cancellation of Monday classes. Snowball fights and other snow activities took place throughout Monday.
Students ventured outside for the year’s first significant snowfall, building snowmen, sledding down hills and waging mass snowball fights Sunday night.
