Armed with a box of Charleston Chews, a map of the university, a full bottle of water and a whole lot of patience, Phil Fleetwood, who had been driving continuously around campus for seven hours, said his day had begun a lot earlier, around 6 p.m.
Semester begins with new transportation options
The initiative, unveiled Monday, Jan. 10, centers on increased connectivity between campus and the city of Richmond as well as continued building of the university’s commitment to sustainability.
Transportation initiative includes zip cars, more buses
Hossein Sadid, vice president for business and finance at the University of Richmond, announced on Friday that the university will add multiple facets to its transportation services, including zip cars and a continuous shuttle system, starting next semester.
