Williams’ arrest preceded departure from basketball team

Former basketball player Derrick Williams was charged with possession of marijuana in October. Though he was found not guilty, Williams left the team in February.

Men’s basketball’s Sparrow and Singleton will transfer

University of Richmond guards Wayne Sparrow and Tim Singleton will transfer schools, according to ESPN’s Jeff Goodman. It is not known where either of them will go next year.
