The Spiders punctuated this win streak with a 73-61 victory away against Appalachian State University on Nov. 24, moving their record to 6-0 on the young season.
It’s a simple mentality, but it has more than worked for the University of Richmond football team, as the Spiders will now play in their third consecutive Football Championship Subdivision playoffs.
“Richmond is known for its great crowds, I want to make sure I prioritize the memory of it because I know I have many more races to come,” Bruce said.

“I’m a senior, and I feel like since freshman year for me […] it’s gotten like a lot more liberal here […] in my political science classes, I am very outnumbered,” senior Maya Marino said.
