Stephanie Rice serves as the news editor, designing the front page for the paper and overseeing the news section, as well as reporting and writing briefs and breaking news stories. She spent her freshman year at a university in Tokyo, Japan, and worked last summer on a mission trip in Namibia, Africa, where she worked with teenagers and children. She is the PR manager for Christian Student Fellowship and plays piano, guitar and drums for a Jazz Combo at the university. She is majoring in journalism.

The university’s Steam Plant, also referred to as the power plant, operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 365 days a year so the university community has enough steam to generate hot water, heat and air conditioning in all of the buildings on campus.
