The Richmond baseball team won two of three games against the Saint Louis Billikens, a team which had lost only one A-10 game prior to facing the Spiders.
The baseball team won 2-1 on Sunday, and senior Jake Mayers pitched the complete game. Afterward, the players shaved their heads in support of cancer research.

Spider baseball advanced its record to 3-0 on the season against Bucknell after a surprisingly offense-filled opener and strong pitching in all three games.
Though most of the baseball team’s offensive producers graduated last year, Coach McQueen is confident that its pitching can carry it to the A-10 tournament.
