Chiddy Bang to perform at Richmond's homecoming weekend

Chiddy Bang will perform at University of Richmond's homecoming concert, said Olivia Karahan, president of Westhampton College Government Association.

WCGA and the Richmond College Student Government Association made the announcement Thursday at SpiderFest. 

Chiddy Bang, whose name is Chidera Anamege, is an American hip-hop artist originally from Philadelphia. Popular Chiddy Bang songs include "Opposite of Adults" and "Mind Your Manners."

In 2011, Chiddy Bang broke the world's longest freestyle record. He rapped for 9 hours, 16 minutes and 22 seconds, according to MTV.

Homecoming weekend is scheduled for Oct. 30-Nov. 1. Among the many events scheduled include President Ronald Crutcher's inauguration.
