UR celebrated all things Ghana during International Education Week.
The University of Richmond women’s basketball team fell 97-73 to Fairfield University on the afternoon of Dec. 7 at the Robins Center, a defeat defined by defensive breakdowns and a relentless Stags perimeter attack.
The University of Richmond men’s basketball team continued their hot start with a win over the Old Dominion University Monarchs 86-77 at home on Saturday, Dec. 6.
The University of Richmond women’s basketball team opened Atlantic 10 Conference play with a 69-46 win over Loyola University Chicago on Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the Robins Center.
In a chilly, candle-lit Stern Plaza, the ceremony began with opening remarks from associate director of the Hub for Student Inclusion and Community Casey Butler, who acknowledged Richmond’s history as the capital of the Powhatan confederacy and violence and oppression that has since persisted.
