Peace Project receives $10,000 in funding

Anna Parker receives Goldwater Scholarship
University of Richmond junior Anna Parker was awarded the 2010-2011 Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship. The scholarship is given to mathematics, chemistry or engineering majors in hopes it will encourage outstanding students to pursue careers in these fields.
Duncan to give speech at 2010 Commencement
Arne Duncan, the U.S. Secretary of Education, will give the keynote address at this year’s Commencement. Duncan’s speech is expected to focus on preparing students for a changing world through personal development and a liberal arts education.
