Dear Editor,
I would like readers to please read past the title of Kaileigh Connolly’s piece “Apartment residents mixed on composting.” The story is well-written and I appreciate the positive coverage, but I don’t think the title accurately describes the content of the piece. Please consider formal surveys (and mention them in your news) before you make qualitative judgments. If any students have a strong opinion against composting I’m willing to hear their perspective, but I (perhaps naively) imagine most people are more ambivalent than directly opposed.
