First-year athletes fulfill requirements during preseason
About 40 incoming freshmen athletes took advantage of the summer sections of URAware and Library Skills 100 to free up more time during their fall semester. The option to take these two mandatory classes was open to international and multicultural freshmen, but only the athletes took advantage of it.
A new perception of rejection
What many of us do: We wait all week long, with the hope of seeing that person we are interested in out on the weekend to make our “big move.” And when we finally see that person, we rehearse in our mind a thousand different ways to approach him or her, and wonder what line we should use.
