Nine students — three from the University of Richmond, five from Virginia Commonwealth University and one from Randolph-Macon College — were commissioned as 2nd lieutenants in the U.S. Army on Saturday during a ceremony at Cannon Memorial Chapel. They are: Riannon Blaisdell-Black, Andrew Deel and Sean Sneeden of Richmond; Paul Dufore, Jeremy Stoddard, Mallory Vance, Joshua Williams and Earl Yevak of VCU; and Jeremy Robinson of Randolph-Macon College.
