Men’s basketball tops Coppin State 78-67 to improve to 4-2 overall

David Gonzalvez had 16 points and Kevin Anderson added 14 to lead the Spiders to a 78-67 win over the Coppin State Eagles Sunday night at the Robins Center.

Spiders prevail over Eastern Kentucky in first round of playoffs

The Spiders won their first-round playoff game Saturday against Eastern Kentucky University 38-10, setting up a playoff rematch against No. 2 Appalachian State University, a team that handily defeated the Spiders last year in the FCS semi-final game.
