Madeleine Albright campaigning for Obama at university Saturday

Former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright will discuss Barack Obama’s foreign policy plans at the University of Richmond at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Camp Concert Hall.

Albright is expected to address Sen. Obama’s proposals for decreasing the risk of terrorism, attacking global poverty and increasing the number of military personnel.

The town hall-style events are free and open to the public.

Albright was the first woman to work as the Secretary of State, serving from 1997-2001. She also is a former Ambassador to the United Nations.
